London is royal, modern and fancy.

The capital of United Kingdom offers so many places of interest that a short trip is hardly enough to immerse yourself in the characteristic atmosphere of the most important city districts. Museums, markets and parks are as gigantic as London itself.

Arrival

The journey from London Heathrow Airport takes 15 minutes on the Heathrow Express to London Paddington Station . There are several Tourist Information Centres at the airport and in the city centre.

Many budget airlines fly to London Stansted or London Gatwick . These airports are quite outside the city, but with the Stansted Express or Gatwick Express you can get to central London in less than an hour.

Hotel

We recommend LSE Bankside House*. The 3-star accommodation is within walking distance of Southwark Bridge and Southwark Station. A slightly more expensive alternative would be the 4-star DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London – Tower of London* near Tower Bridge, which has a rooftop bar.
